Thayden awoke a bit before 7am, and as all four of us walked into the living room in our jammies, we saw evidence suggesting someone had been in our kitchen! "Oh no! A mess!" Thayden exclaimed through his Nuka. It appeared the Easter Bunny had tried to hide the baskets in the baking cabinet but there was no room, and he left a trail of flour as he hopped to find a different place. Flour paw prints and...bunny poop.
Suspicious tracks of paw prints and poop.Sierra has a 6th sense that tells her when her mommy is eating because no matter where she is or how long it has been since she last ate, she awakens promptly when I sit down to eat. Today's meal was no exception, although she had been sleeping soundly for over an hour before then so I hadn't had time to dress her in her adorable white Easter eyelet dress until after we ate.
And a collection of pictures summing up the afternoon.
This is more uncle Brandon's style - upside down with a cackling Thayden.
Wait! The Easter fun is not done! We haven't done our Easter egg hunt yet!
Thayden went outside today every time he could escape. Here was one of the approved times outside - going for a bike ride. This is a familiar view for us - he rarely waits.
And finally, all ready for bed in his new dinosaur PJ's he got in his Easter basket. What a wonderful day, Easter! A time to celebrate His love and sacrifice for us all and cherish the life we have been given. So blessed we are.
