7 Months

7 months have flown by and my baby Sierra is gone from being an adorable easy-going baby to an adorable on-the-go baby! We thought Sierra's personality was so drastically different from our novelty-seeking first born as for most of her life Sierra has been super content and easily entertained (often by her brother) but in the past couple of weeks she has started to get a little more feisty. She now wants to be part of the action at all times - taking baths with Thayden, playing cars with Thayden, eating big people food, and standing/walking with help. She LOVES being outside, even if it's raining. She pretty much hates her car seat (which may have a lot to do with our long road trip to MN recently.) Thankfully she is still a good sleeper! And she still has the best smiles!

What she is up to these days:

- eating a variety of Stage 2 baby foods (veggies, fruits), bread, and just tried yogurt - not a fan yet. If she could choose she'd eat off mommy and daddy's plate and skip the puree stuff.

- sitting very well by herself and can scoot a bit to get something she wants

- standing with help (either holding our hands or an object) and can take a couple steps holding our hands

- likes swimming, and splashing. no fear of water in her face!

- no teeth yet but she can get pretty ferocious gnawing on stuff when her gums itch, and the last two days she has had a rash on her face from all the drool so maybe something's coming!

- loves her big brother who can make her giddy almost any hour of the day!

Photos in the pool are all from the beginning of the month on our drive to MN in the hotel we staying in. The water was a bit chilly but neither of the kids cared too much!
