A few days ago my baby hit the 6 month milestone - wow time flies! She weighs 13.5 lbs (~5%ile) and is 24.5 inches long (~10%ile). Growing well for her petite self :)
These days she:
*is very interactive with her environment
*adores her older brother, even if he is being obnoxious
*has discovered her toes, but doesn't put them in her mouth yet
*can sit up without support for about a minute
*can easily reach out and grasp a toy, change hands, and bring in straight to her mouth
*loves the pool or her bath, and doesn't get nearly as hypothermic as her brother
*loves being outside - going on walks, hikes, and camping as you can see by my other posts
*is eating some stage 1 solids - preferring the fruit for sure
*is a very easy-going baby...unless she is hungry
*played at the playground for the first time yesterday - the slide made her squeal with glee
*wearing 3-6 month clothes for the most part. I put away all of her 0-3 month clothes this weekend and got out the 6-12 month sizes but most of those look far too big yet :)
We are getting 6 month photos taken by Studio B when we go back to MN for Josh & Jess's wedding in a couple weeks. I also have a few I need to transfer to the computer yet so check back later to see if I have got around to adding them to this post.
That's all for now! I start nights on the wards tomorrow so my life will unfortunately be a lot different than the past month. Bummer. No more weekend camping trips for us this year but we'll be excited for them next summer!
