- This post is 9 days late, so subtract 9 days and this is what Sierra was up to at EIGHT MONTHS!
- Sierra wants to do everything her big brother Thayden does. Baths, cars, outside, inside, up, down, table food, you get the picture. She gets very vocal when she does not get her way.
- She easily gets from a laying position to a sitting position to a crawling position...but no crawl. She commando crawl and spin around so she is quite slick at getting where she wants to be.
- She can pull herself up on furniture (now she is also starting to cruise along the furniture!)
- She LOVES to take your fingers and walk all over. This is back-breaking for us, but she loves it.
- She much prefers table food to baby mush. With only 2 bottom teeth she does a pretty good job of chewing up solids! Pizza is one of her favorites (still no comparison to guacamole, however.)
- She says mama and dada, and when she actually wants Daddy she says "daddy".

Below she is climbing on the playground on our block. She was pretty proud of herself!
A couple weekends ago we went down to Colorado Springs and had a gourmet meal and a good afternoon with Shannon, Seth and Jessica. Thayden loved playing with Jessica upstairs. Jessica sang and danced to her girly songs while Thayden drove her Barbie cards and rolled his eyes at her :) Here is a picture of all three of the kids.
The Sunday before last was excellent. We went to church at 9, although we haven't found the perfect church yet, and this one was added to the "no way" list. But then we went out to eat brunch outdoors (gorgeous day!). Then walked over to the farmers market where Thayden ran and ran with other kids his age and Sierra enjoyed playing in the grass.
Then we drove downtown to REI and spent and insane amount of money to get the kids ready for this winter. The REI is right on the Colorado River, so we walked along the river for a bit before we were all hungry again. We found this pizzaria and again got to eat outside. Thayden had THREE pieces of pizza and Sierra had almost a whole piece to herself! Troy and I were thinking we should have gotten more pizza! But really, tang tops at 5-6pm the end of October? Love it!
And here are some photos of Sierra playing in the living room.
