5 months!

Time goes by so quickly! But I am getting this post up in time this time - Sierra has reached the 5 month mark! She is so interactive with her world now it is so much fun! Here is what she has been up to along with a few pictures (though not enough):

*rolling and twisting to get where she wants on the floor
*leans/points towards where she wants to go (usually the window or outside)
*loves being outside, lots of smiles and laughter!
*watches her crazy brother
*coos, and "sings" with mommy
*playing in her saucer, she can pick up toys and bring them to her mouth well now
*watches Go Diego Go with intensity and flailing her arms when the music comes on
*gives kisses (big open mouth slobbery ones!)
*helps hold her bottle
*falls asleep in her own crib at night and stays asleep until 4:30/5am (such a good baby!)

And now for the pictures...
She likes playing in her saucer. Especially in the mornings with Daddy.

We decided to try some rice cereal for the first time last week. She wasn't so sure what to do with it when I got it in her mouth, and she was much more interested in batting at the spoon with her hands and most of it ended up on her bib. We got a short video of the event :) We have tried it a couple more times since then and she does a much better job of eating it and gets very excited for more more more!
We have also done a fair amount of swimming with the kids with the hot sunny days. Sierra LOVES the water and doesn't seem to get nearly as cold as Thayden did when he was a baby (actually, he still does, his little lips turn blue and he just shakes.) Sierra obviously inherited my extra fat to keep her insulated :) She is always interested in what Brother is up to.

And her bath time. What baby doesn't like bath time? Here are a few cute shots from tonight's bath (and you can appreciate her cute chunks she's developed!

Her brother has been up to lots of fun things too! He has learned how to snorkel with fins and all! He loves swimming - we could do it every day if it were up to him. :)
